Professional Portrait Photography Course

A successful portrait may reveal the personality of the subject or tell a lot about the photographer who created it in a stylish and artistic way. Portraiture goes way back in human history. Even before the invention of photography, painters and sculptures would create beautiful portraits. Today, the widespread use of digital photography has made portraiture ever so popular.

There are many different ideas about what makes a good portrait, and in this hands-on course, we will study this intriguing form of photography from a technical, historical and artistic point of view.  Creating a good portrait is very challenging, even for seasoned professionals. During the course, you will have the opportunity to learn how to develop your personal style and create several professional quality portraits for your website or portfolio.

In the last two classes, a professional photo model will be present so that you can practice your new skills and gain experience in creating professional portraits and working with live models.
